Ceara is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology and a Master of Applied Psychology (Clinical) from Victoria University. She provides personalised evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy in a warm, collaborative and compassionate environment.
Ceara holds firm that everyone has different goals for therapy and she therefore tailors her approach to individual needs and preferences. She is experienced drawing upon a range of therapeutic frameworks when providing therapy including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and has a special interest in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
Ceara is experienced working with individuals across the lifespan, from the ages of 3 years into late adulthood. Ceara has worked within different settings including private practice, animal assisted therapy practice, and with adults in a private psychiatric setting.

No, you do not need a referral. Everyone is welcome to access therapy privately. However, if you would like to receive a Medicare Rebate a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan is required. These can be obtained from your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist.
Appointment times are regular and can be either weekly or fortnightly dependent on your needs and availability.
Yes, if you are self managed you can claim session fees from NDIS with a paid invoice. If you are plan managed all invoicing and payments can be arranged between the clinic and your plan manager.
Yes, a rebate of $137.05 is available from Medicare with a Mental Health Care Plan for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. For more information on recommended fees by the Australian Psychological Society and rebates from Medicare please see the links below.
